Southend-on-Sea is an established seaside resort on the north side of the Thames estuary.  It offers a wide variety of entertainments and amusements, including a Sealife Centre, The Kursaal Theme Park, Adventure Island, and much more. Southend’s 19th century pier is also the longest pleasure pier in the world. The shingle beach here is backed by a promenade and is one of the town’s liveliest beaches.  It features a set of children’s splash fountains, and state-of-the-art lighting along the promenade, which also offers a number of beachside cafes.

The coach will be dropping and picking up between the beach and Adventure Island and there is just a 3 minute walk between the 2. There is space underneath the coach for any beach equipment you wish to bring!
